It is 3D-printed from fiberglass-reinforced engineering plastic, providing high strength with resistance to water and heat. The ring around the front surface of the cap adds extra grip and stability when placed on smooth or slippery surfaces. All hardware components, including screws and spring, are made from stainless steel for long-term durability.

The CAMDEC lens cap for the Ai-S Nikon Nikkor 800mm f/5.6 ED IF is perfect! The cap is very well made, elegant and solid. It complements the lens in a way that the leatherette factory lens hoody with a string can’t. At 150mm in diameter, it fits the lens inner barrel lumen as if it was made at the Nikon factory. It provides peace of mind for protecting the glass in such a heavy lens. The cap is also the perfect size to fit attached to the lens inside the original Nikon lens trunk. The delivery time was very fast. I am very happy to have found this seller for such a unique product!
